‘Hearthstone’ Pirate Miracle Rogue Guide – The new Meta-Breaking deck

New Rogue Miracle Deck

Some people might think the pirates released in Mean Streets Of Gadgetzan are healthy for Hearthstone , but the competitive ladder says otherwise. Pirate variations of all sorts of decks are starting to pop up, all because of how stupidly strong Small Time Buccaneer and Patches are. One of the newer Pirate variations sweeping Blizzard’s card game is Pirate Miracle Rogue.

The basics of Miracle Rogue don’t change with this deck: you are trying to draw as many cards off of Gadgetzan Auctioneer as possible. Comboing Preparation into Conceal, Sap, Eviscerate or Cold Blood allows you to build card and field advantage. The new cards from Mean Streets Of Gadgetzan add to the potency of the deck. Alongside Small Time Buccaneer (duh), there’s Counterfeit Coin , a potent tool for Rogues to use. You are already getting two free Coins from Tomb Pillager , now you get one more to combo even more.

In order to get the most value out of your combos with Miracle Rogue, you’ll need to build up Questing Adventurer and Edwin Van Cleef. If you can’t draw a ton of cards off of Gadgetzan Auctioneer, there’s something else you can do with those spells clogging your hand. Strong wave clear has taken a backseat to early aggression in this meta, which makes building up these two guys pretty doable. Conceal might not be as important as it was in the Whispers Of The Old Gods meta, but keeping your 10/10 Edwin or Adventurer safe is still a smart thing to do.

Pirate Miracle Rogue is strongest in the mid-game, when you can play all of your combo pieces and strike for game in one turn. If you can’t build up hand advantage with Gadgetzan Auctioneer or strong minions like Questing Adventurer, getting two Cold Bloods on a Leeroy Jenkins turn six with a Counterfeit Coin is still a viable win condition.
